Quotes of Note

" In the ASEAN region, the ASP market is at an infancy stage and it is still a vendor-driven market. However, the market seemed to have attracted many ASP vendors’ attention. This shows an indication of potential market opportunity in this region. The key drivers of growth in the ASP business model are the vendors’ successful implementation with clear business advantage in communicating to their customers and the sophistication of the region’s data communication infrastructure. "

" The security market in Malaysia is set to experience a time of growth and development. Findings show that senior management attention to information security has been rated good but it is still an immature market at present and a number of factors point to a more "product-focused" market approach. This is evident from the findings where users indicated a tendency to approach hardware/software vendor instead of engaging consultants, systems integrators or security specialists. "

" The days of web hosting as we see it will grow to evolve around

changes in customer requirements which will lead to a greater ability for organizations o outsource their strategic Internet applications such as e-commerce. The new buzzword for end-users will be along the lines of managed service provisioning for the next few

months to come.
