Since autumn 2005, Arun Chandramohan has been responsible for vertical markets and SMB markets for the CEMA region. He has a deep understanding of industry-specific IT drivers and trends and IT procurement patterns, and he forecasts vertical and SMB IT spending across the CEMA region. The cross-technology nature of his position has enabled him to develop a balanced understanding of hardware, software, and IT services. He specializes in the manufacturing, government, and SMB markets.
He has applied his expertise and knowledge in executing strategic consulting engagements and custom research projects, helping clients to improve their verticalization, business development, market entry, and channel strategies across the CEMA region.
Before joining IDC in autumn 2005, Chandramohan worked as a research and consulting manager for EMEA at a boutique research firm focused on helping IT vendors develop and implement go-to-market and sales-mobilization strategies. He has also worked in investment management and management consulting.
Chandramohan has a master's degree in international business from the University of Applied Sciences, Furtwangen, Germany.
