Lars Goransson is Vice President of IDC Canada’s Consulting Group and is responsible for managing large custom research projects and proprietary consulting activities with IDC’s clients. Mr. Goransson specializes in strategic planning, market assessments, and partner analyses within the IT industry. Mr. Goransson works closely with IDC analysts and subject matter experts to manage projects through every stage.
Mr. Goransson joined the Consulting Group following over seven years in a variety of senior analyst and management roles at IDC Canada. Most recently, Lars managed the Canadian Services Research team at IDC. Since joining IDC Canada in 1996, Mr. Goransson has conducted comprehensive, large-scale primary research into key areas of the Canadian IT market such as application outsourcing, customer relationship management, and customer segments like SMB.
Mr. Goransson holds a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Business and Administration and Economics from the Gothenburg School of Economics in Gothenburg, Sweden.
