In her role as Director of IDC Venezuela, Judith Gil has overall management responsibilities as well as a focus on the commercialization of the firm's research products and services. Prior to cofounding IDC Venezuela, Ms. Gil worked for 13 years in the MIS group of Metro de Caracas. Her varied posts in the MIS group included analyst, manager of IS systems, assistant director of MIS, and director of MIS. Ms. Gil has traveled extensively throughout Latin America, speaking at various IT conferences, and is a respected voice on numerous information management topics.
Ms. Gil holds a degree in Computer Science from the Universidad Central de Venezuela. She also obtained a special extension course diploma on Advanced Management from the Instituto de Estudios Superiores de Administracion (IESA).
