This IDC study illustrates the status of the China IT outsourcing (ITO) market and forecasts growth trends for the next five years. It also includes the competitive landscape with a ranking of top vendors, as well as an analysis of segment markets.

"The China ITO market continued to grow and at a faster rate, accounting for US$806.1 million in 2006, with an increase of 37.7% over 2005. It still takes a small segment of the whole IT spending pie in the IT service market, but fostered by an increasing demand from customers and reliable support from Chinese government, it has secured a strong driving impetus for further improvement," says Vivian Yu, research analyst, Software and Services Research, IDC China. "IDC forecasts the China ITO market will maintain rapid growth over the next five years, with a 2006–2011 compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 29.7%."
