In August 2007, IDC polled United States–based enterprise IT decision makers regarding their current or predicted environmental policies for printing. Overall, 164 IT and line-of-business respondents indicated they have or are developing such policies. Their responses provide a glimpse of green priorities for document printing, scanning, and copying. "This analysis of the results provides a base for further analysis of enterprise, environmentally focused document management strategies," says Sue Lyon, IDC Hardcopy Peripherals and Document Solutions Research Director.
